'Winter Snail' is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut inspired by the snails that visit my garden throughout the year. This linoprint is the 'Winter' edition of a set of four I created - one for each season.

The paper size is approximately 6 by 10 inch and the paper is a light sage green Thai Mulberry paper.

Linocut is a type of traditional relief printmaking whereby designs are carved by hand into lino blocks - the block is then inked with professional standard ink, paper applied on top and it is then pressed by hand.
